CBDT has issued Circular no. 1/2019 or deduction of tax at source from salaries for Financial Year 2018-19. It has issued another corrigendum with regards to section 80TTB deduction available in respect of interest income from deposits held by senior citizens. Earlier, the board has issued corrigendum with respect of a few examples used in said circular.
