The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has specified ‘Director General, Central Economic Intelligence Bureau (CEIB)’ for the purpose of section 138. The CBDT has also directed that in respect of info. received from foreign jurisdiction, confidentiality clause to be adhered and the information couldn’t be shared with other agencies till prior permission of sharing foreign jurisdiction is received through CBDT by the CEIB
