Intel abuses its dominant position for imposing unfair and arbitrary warranty conditions on micro-processor

Competition Act: Where OP being manufacturer of IT components imposed unfair and discriminatory conditions that warranty in respect of boxed micro-processor would be provided only when same was purchased in India from its authorized Indian distributor, such unfair warranty policy of OP prima facie amounted to abuse of dominant position in contravention of provisions of section 4
