CCI imposes penalty on 'All India Chess Federation' for abusing its dominant position in market

Competition Act: Where All India Chess Federation was found to be dominant in markets for organization of professional chess tournaments/events in India and restriction placed by it on chess players to participate in events not authorised by it was found to unreasonable/anti-competitive; cease and desist order was to be issued against it and penalty was also to be imposed for indulging in anti-competitive conduct
